Marcus King tour kit — 1954 Cadillac Green with crushed glass and white-and-orange diamond inlay

American blues-rock prodigy. Multi-platinum songwriter and bandleader; son of guitarist Marvin King and grandson of bluesman Bill King. Founded The Marcus King Band as a teenager and has since become one of the most regarded young guitar players and singers in American music — a generational voice positioned alongside Chris Stapleton, Dan Auerbach, and Warren Haynes.

Three HandShake commissions, across studio, stage, and home. Every design choice intentional.

Studio Kit · Crushed Glass Orange

A vintage Slingerland kit converted to concert toms and refinished in custom orange with a real crushed glass finish. Two matching custom LP congas finished in the same crushed-glass orange round out the set — every piece designed to live together. All in Marcus’s Nashville home studio.

Tour Kit · 1954 Cadillac Green

A Noble & Cooley kit repainted in 1954 Cadillac Green with real crushed glass and a white-and-orange diamond inlay. Matching custom LP congas finished in the same Cadillac Green with diamond inlay — every design choice intentional, kit and congas as one set. The kit went out on Marcus’s Mood Swings world tour for all of 2024, made its TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and supported Chris Stapleton at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The kit now resides in drummer Jack Ryan’s home studio in Greenville, SC.

Nashville Home Studio · Two Orange Guitars

Two guitars finished to match the studio kit’s orange aesthetic — a Telecaster and a Precision bass. Both live in Marcus’s Nashville home studio.
